« Further information & FAQ’s | A Message for Parents » Physical FitnessThe Shuri Karate Dojo provides you with a complete program in physical conditioning. Our exercises are safe, effective and tailored to your individual needs. We follow the exercise guidelines as laid down by Karate England (National Governing Body). Age, sex, physical condition and strength need not get in your way to a more vital and productive life that comes from active training. Our students range from eight to over forty years of age. If you are over the age of 35 it may be a good idea, if you haven’t participated in physical activity for some time, just checking with your doctor to ensure it is safe to do so. Our Dojo does not force competition upon you and you will not be asked to confront someone more experienced than you. We are a traditional Dojo, so if the competition side of karate does not appeal to you then you have no need to worry, it will NOT be forced upon you. |
